Sunshine Valley Vineyards proudly crafts its single vineyard wines from one of the most sought after regions of Napa Valley. Our vineyard in Oak Knoll is located at the valley floor of Napa Valley, bordering the Oakville district, which allows for the cooling and hydrating coastal marine layer to gently nourish the vineyard vines.
As temperatures continue to increase year after year, Oak Knoll thrives and remains protected from heat and drought damage that northern Napa Valley Vineyards experience. Similarly, Oak Knoll vineyards have the luxury of harvesting at the grape’s peak readiness unlike other regions that may be forced to pick prematurely due to heat concerns.
Winemaking Partnership
Jean Hoefliger is Sunshine Valley Vineyards’ winemaker, a rock star in the Napa Valley wine industry. His expertise has taken him around the world, from Switzerland to South Africa and now North America. With a winemaking and viticulture degree from the École d'ingénieurs de Changins, Jean came to California, where he currently resides and creates critically acclaimed wines.
Continuing the pursuit of wine excellence is Anthony Shen, General Manager, since business establishment in 2010. This seasoned international architect brings a bold, refreshing, & creative approach to product development from farming to the presentation of our world class wines.
SVV presently produces a Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and our flagship Jubilee - a Cabernet Sauvignon predominant red blend.
